DJ RaspI’m always partial to a bit of hip-hop and there’s not many out there who work the ones and twos better than DJ Rasp. One of Europe’s most respected hip-hop DJ’s, Rasp is a true champion turntablist. He has the proud accolade of becoming double UK champion in 2009, taking both the DMC Battle For Supremacy and IDA crowns. Then, in 2010, he successfully defended his IDA UK title whilst also becoming the DMC UK vice-champion. DJ Rasp is the touring DJ for a number of hip-hop crews, including G&G Sindikatas (Lithuania), The Shakti, The Punning Clan and Random Era, as well as the twelve piece funk band The Elementals. To this day, Rasp continues to rock parties across the globe, mixing up the finest hip-hop, funk, soul, dubstep and electronica in his own unique style.

You may be wondering why I’m telling you all this. Well, it’s to give you a bit of background to the man who has turned in yet another jaw-droppingly amazing mix, ‘The Motley Project’. Tearing through a range of styles, including everything from old boombap, hiphop, ghetto funk, trap & modern rap tracks, Rasp gives them all that turntablist twist that will have your head nodding in no time. There truly is something for everyone on this, which is why I thought I’d share it with good party people like yourselves. Enjoy!
