Time flies when you’re having fun! A festival set here, a cheeky backroom takeover there and before you know it, a whole year has bobbed by since our last Hold It Down party. This alarming realisation has hit us hard, so come the 21st April we’ll be leaving the Holdcopter in the garage, kicking off our shoes and getting comfortable with friends and locals back on our home turf of South Manchester, as we assume control of Fallowfield’s booming subterranean hang-out, Red Rum.

Already the scene of a few Hold excursions, mainly on behalf of our friends at Stomping Ground, this time round we’ve got the whole night to flop out our alluring array of deviant discoloid dramatics, wildly inventive house and timeless techno, future classics mixed with tried and tested favourites in the usual spontaneous style.

Red Rum is an ideal little bass-hole to do our thing – part crypt and part raucous rave pit, so we can’t wait to make up for lost Mancunian time and right get back up to speed. Hold It Down…
