This Saturday sees us pack our bags, clamber up in to the cockpit of our battered Hold It Down Y-Wing, and set hyperspeed co-ordinates for the Sheffield system (South Yorkshire Sector).

We’ll be risking life and limb traversing an icey Snakes pass to lend a hand at Sheffield’s much loved house and techno shindig Collect. Not only that, we’ve been given full reign over the Pipe Room from start to finish – a true Hold It Down haven. BUT NOT ONLY THAT! We’ve only gone that one hyperspace jump further and enlisted the talents of venerable Sheffield house bod CHRIS DUCKENFIELD to the ranks of Hold It Down star command. Chris is a veritable Sheffield legend after serving an apprenticeship in the old Warp Records store and going on to form half of pioneering house outfit SWAG. An expert worldwide purveyor of all three of the holy Hold trinity of Disco, House and Techno, we can’t wait for him to augment 8 hours of Hold mayhem!
